Help solve world hunger

If you have read Divine Mercy for Moms or heard Emily and I speak, you know we are big fans of the amazing organization Mary’s Meals.   We’ve both been profoundly touched by the work of Magnus MacFarlane Barrow and all the worldwide volunteers who feed 1.3 MILLION children a day in conjunction with an education for less than 10 cents a child.  This fall, we are joining up with Mary’s Meals for their awesome Thanksgiving Challenge and we want to encourage you to join us.   Read how you can help bring hope to the world (and work off a little of that Thanksgiving turkey!!)

Fall is in the air and Thanksgiving is next month. Get ready for the biggest feast of the year by signing up to take the Mary’s Meals Thanksgiving Challenge. ‘Run Locally, Feed Globally’ is a virtual race, which supports our shared vision that every hungry child should receive a daily meal in their place of education.

Thanksgiving is the perfect time to be grateful for all that we have and to also take a moment to think about those less fortunate than ourselves. You can make a difference this year by committing to walk, run or stroll (at any distance and speed) which will help provide nutritious school meals and a path out of poverty to some of the world’s poorest children.

Be it the Thursday of Thanksgiving, or the days before or after, walk your neighborhood, jog your favorite trail, turn on a treadmill, or simply dance to your mailbox!
