Shelter the Homeless

I try to keep extra snacks in car for the homeless and be able to drop off items when I need it. During the winter I also try to keep an extra warm blanket to give away. I have been amazed at how God has used me to provide small comforts to the homeless. I always give them the phone number and contact information to our local Catholic Social Service that help house the homeless. Over the years, I have enjoyed attending the Catholic Social Services fundraiser because I see a real value in what they do and it is a great way to celebrate those who are helping to shelter the homeless. – Emily, Co-Founder, Divine Mercy for Moms

Instead I of asking for birthday gifts this year, my twins asked for gift cards to help the flood victims of Columbia.  Thousands lost their homes and everything inside. – Cherry, mom of 4, Columbus OH

For Operation Christmas Child, we collected 70 shoebox gifts from St. Paul School families! We dropped   off so Samaritan’s Purse so they could can ship them off to children living in poverty around the world. A small act done with great love. We hope the toys, toothbrushes, soap, socks, combs and crayons will bless these children on Christmas morning. – Andrea, mom of 3, North Canton, OH

We would love to hear how you live out the Circle Of Mercy.
