“He summoned the Twelve and began to send them out two by two . . . ”—Mark 6:7
As Jesus sent out his disciples two by two to preach the Good News, Michele Faehnle and Emily Jaminet have also taken Christ’s commissioning to heart with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Coauthors of the bestselling Divine Mercy for Moms, the two serve on the leadership team of the Columbus Catholic Women’s Conference, one of the largest Catholic Women’s Conferences in the country with over 3,500 attendees and are contributors to CatholicMom.com. They have spoken together at a number of events, including the National Shrine of Divine Mercy, 1:38 Women, Mothering with Grace Annual Mother’s Conference, Indiana Catholic Women’s Conference, and the online Catholic Conference for Moms. Michele and Emily have appeared on EWTN’s At Home with Jim and Joy and a number of Catholic radio programs.
Michele Faehnle holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Franciscan University of Steubenville. She works as a school nurse at St. Andrew School in Upper Arlington and is the mother of four.
Emily Jaminet holds a B.A. from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Mental Health and Human Services and a Minor in Human Life Studies. After a brief stint as an administrative assistant at the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation, a Christian non-profit, she gave up an out of the home job in favor of staying home to raise her growing family and be a worker in the vineyard of the Lord. Emily hosts “Mother’s Moments” a short daily reflection heard on St. Gabriel Catholic Radio AM820 (also streaming live on stgabrielradio.com) at 2:55 pm each weekday. She is the mother of seven.
Michele and Emily’s lives have been intertwined for some time now…
Our Story
We met in college
Michele met her husband at Emily’s wedding and they got engaged exactly one year later.
Our friendship grew though our adult lives.
One time we even had babies just an hour apart from each other in the same hospital!
After 20 years of friendship we wanted to do something to help other women go deeper into knowing and loving our Faith.
So The Friendship Project was born.
Be part of our story. Join us today as we grow in virtue and deepen and develop our friendships!
Book us today! Emily and Michele would love to speak to your women’s group, moms club or parish group about The Friendship Project. Visit our speaking page for samples and topics.
